Rearden Commerce founder and CEO, Patrick Grady, was named as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Executives of 2008 by Business Travel News. The annual list recognizes the 25 business and government executives whose decisions held the greatest sway over the business travel industry in the previous year.

Business Travel News recognized Grady's leadership in 2008 as he continued to redefine the travel industry by delivering on his vision for the Rearden Personal Assistantâ„¢ and the expansion of travel management to include ancillary services. Grady broadened the Rearden Commerceâ„¢ Platform and led it as it acquired two companies, ExpenseWire, the leading on-demand expense management solution, and Global Ground Automation (GGA), the leader in ground transportation reservation automation. Under his leadership, the company announced strategic alliances and distribution agreements with JP Morgan Chase and Paychex, and received over $100M in incremental funding to accelerate growth. Today, thanks to Grady's drive, more than 2 million customers at more than 4,000 companies use Rearden Commerce to access a growing list of more than 160,000 vendors.

Business Travel News made special mention of Rearden Commerce's unique approach to corporate travel stating, "its Personal Assistant online procurement platform to aggregate new spend categories and supplier channels, such as dining reservations, event tickets and off-airport parking reservations, has prompted other online booking providers to follow suit." It also commented on the company's expanding ecosystem, noting that its "distribution network last year expanded notably with the completion of ExpenseWire distribution deals with Orbitz for Business, TRX and payroll and human resources services provider Paychex, giving Rearden access to more than 500,000 small and midsize businesses. It now has relationships with more than 60 travel management companies, including part-owner American Express Business Travel."

"It is a tremendous honor to be on the BTN25 and to be recognized by the editorial staff and industry leaders for our achievements," said Patrick Grady, founder and CEO of Rearden Commerce. "We have worked tirelessly to create the best product available to serve the needs of customers looking to see a real effect on their bottom line. To be recognized amongst such a great list of top executives is humbling."
