Rearden Commerce Announces Doug Haslam as Vice President, Human Resources

Rearden Commerce, developer of an Internet services platform, today announced the appointment of Doug Haslam as Vice President, Human Resources, responsible for developing the global human capital strategy and leading the human resources team for the company.

Before joining Rearden Commerce, Doug was a principal and consultant in his own human resources practice providing strategic and operational HR and organizational development support to companies. Prior to that Doug was VP, Human Resources and Facilities at Silicon Image, and VP, Human Resources and Administration at Borland Software. At Silicon Image, he led the HR effort to expand the company's global footprint in Asia and Europe as well as North America. At Borland, he led a turnaround and upgrade of the HR, staffing and facilities function and team aligning more directly and effectively with the business. In early roles, he led human resources for SEVEN Networks, OmniSky and Palm Computing. His background includes experience across the entire range of human resources and organizational development activities including building and leading global teams and functions in rapid growth environments, executive coaching and talent acquisition and management.

Doug holds an MPA with an emphasis on organizational behavior from UCLA, in Los Angeles, CA. He also has B.A. in History and Government from Ohio University in Athens, OH. He lives in San Carlos with his wife and teenage son and daughter.
