Rearden Commerce Appoints Andy Cunningham as Chief Marketing Officer

Rearden Commerce, a next-generation eCommerce platform company, today announced the appointment of Andrea "Andy" Cunningham as Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for leading the overall marketing strategy and branding initiatives for the company.

"I've been fortunate in my career to be at the forefront of many 'Big Things' including personal computing, desktop publishing, digital imaging, very light jets and more," said Andy. Before joining Rearden Commerce, Andy was the Founder and CEO of CXO Communication, a privately held brand strategy and communication firm focused entirely on matters critical to corporate officers and their teams. CXO creates and executes branding and communication programs that advance corporate reputation, increase shareholder value and accelerate business growth. Prior to that, Andy was founder and CEO of Cunningham Communication, a public relations agency she founded in 1985 and sold to Huntsworth plc in 2000. As CEO of both agencies, Andy counseled the leaders of Fortune 50 to Fortune 1000 companies, as well as start-ups that represent visionary success across multiple industries, including personal computing, desktop publishing, digital imaging, financial services, e-tailing, networking, mobile and wireless solutions. Early in her career she worked for Regis McKenna, a high technology public relations firm, where she led the marketing team that launched the Apple® Macintosh®.

Andy is a member of the following non-profit boards: The Aspen Institute, The Computer History Museum, and ZERO1: the Art and Technology Network, a contemporary arts organization she founded in 2000 that acts as a catalyst and platform for the development and presentation of innovative art. She is also a member of the advisory board of Specialized Bicycle Components.

Andy was named a 1998 Henry Crown Fellow and is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society, the Chief Executives' Organization and the World Presidents' Organization where she is an officer. She received a B.A. in English from Northwestern University and resides in Palo Alto, California with her husband and two children.
