Rearden Commerce, a next-generation eCommerce platform company, announced today that CEO Patrick Grady was selected by Business Travel News (BTN) as one of the 25 most influential executives of the business travel industry of 2010. The BTN annual list recognizes travel executives who drive change in the travel industry.
The Rearden Commerce platform continues to grow under Grady's leadership to connect consumers with suppliers to enable billions of dollars of end user spend each year. BTN specifically highlighted Rearden's depth of partnerships, including Travelport, the business services provider to the global travel industry, Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), a global leader specializing in business travel management, American Express, whose travel application AXIOM now incorporates Rearden's mobile services, and IBM, for its comprehensive travel and expense management solution.
"The travel industry has transformed itself over the last decade and I am honored to be recognized by BTN as driving some of the change," said Patrick Grady, founder and CEO of Rearden Commerce. "As both the enterprise and consumers alike continue to demand more from their travel booking experience, the demand for the convergence of productivity-gaining applications that deliver a world class — and individually relevant — user experience will drive even more innovation."
