Krish has spent the last two decades leading successful technology companies through explosive revenue growth and global expansion. For the past nearly three years, Krish has been the Chairman of the Board of Deem and has been instrumental in leading the company to additional funding and growth. As Co-Founder and Managing Director of PointGuard Ventures, he led the firm’s investment in Deem. As both a General Partner at the GXO venture firm and privately, he’s helped build companies such as, Prysm, mBlox, Altierre, Oberon Media, Teknovus (sold to Broadcom), Stratalight (sold to Opnext), Dilithium Networks (sold to OnMobile), ReachLocal (IPO in 2010), enLighted, PINC Solutions, Silverback Learning Solutions and Sand Hill Finance. From 1999 to 2007, he was Chairman, CEO and President of @Road, Inc., a worldwide leader in mobile resource management solutions, which he took from startup through a successful IPO in 2000 and a successful secondary offering in 2003. Prior to @Road, he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Logic Products division of semiconductor manufacturer Atmel Corporation, and held executive sales and marketing roles at Catalyst Semiconductor, Datapoint Corporation and Xicor.
John has more than 35 years of experience helping guide some of the world’s most successful technology companies through start-up phases, major product launches, branding and marketing campaigns, rapid growth, acquisitions and IPOs. Before joining Deem, he was Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Customer Officer and General Manager at SolarWinds, an IT software company that grew from $325 million to $505 million in revenues during his tenure. SolarWinds was taken private in a $4.5 billion transaction – over a 75% premium from the time he joined the company. Prior to SolarWinds, John was Chief Marketing Officer at Jive Software, where he helped grow the business from $75 million to $150 million in revenues in 24 months and completed a successful $1.75 billion IPO. John has served as CEO at several early-stage startups with successful exits and early in his career held senior leadership roles at Oracle, Apple and Intel. He also sits on the board of Untangle and Filld, and is a board advisor to the Stanford StartX accelerator, Prevedere and Motiva, as well as a being an instructor at Stanford University Continuing Education.
Pete is a successful and seasoned technology venture capitalist with a history of innovative companies and success built on his strong operating background before he began his career in venture capital. Prior to co-founding PointGuard, Pete co-founded ATA Ventures in 2004, a firm that has raised three funds with capital of $440 million over the last ten years. Pete’s achievements are represented by a wide variety of successful IPOs including Atmel (ATML), @Road (ARDI), Altera (ALTR), Cirrus Logic (CRUS), FormFactor (FORM), Office Club (OCLB), NeoPhotonics (NPTN), Telcom Semi (TLCM), and Transmeta (TMTA), as well as successful M&A of Silicon Light Machines (Cypress Semi), IC Works (Cypress Semi), Nanogram (Teijin), Menlo Care (Ethicon) and others. He has also been a General Partner at Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) and an Associate with Technology Venture Investors (TVI). Prior to TVI, Pete spent seven years at Intel managing engineering, strategic planning and marketing departments. Prior to that, he spent six years in engineering roles at Fairchild and Sylvania EDL.
